Attached video recording provides a very good overview of the user experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV with Locking Management Solution. In this example we have 40 automatic users creating and posting sales orders without delay and one real user working in a separate screen creating and posting sales orders. As you can see the user will not feel any delays during the data entry or posting. At the end of the test, SQL server issued a check point that caused the system to slow down due to 100% load for E: drive but even including that maximum lock time was 480 ms. This is actually an extremely good result in comparison with standard NAV system. When we had the same situation with standard NAV, lock time went over 120000 ms and about 20 users received a “lock overtime” error.
